Truck tires
Truck
tires are extremely important – you want to be
sure that your truck tires are in good shape, especially if you
are going to be driving off-road at all. First of all, be sure to
check the air pressure in each truck tire. You may need to inflate
(or even deflate) one or all of your truck tires to match the manufacturer’s
recommendations – to find out what air pressure your tires
should be at, check both your truck’s manual, and what the
actual tire says on it.
You also need to check out the wear of your truck tires. Make sure
that your tread length are 2/32-inch or more – you can check
this easily with a penny. Place Lincoln’s head down into your
truck tire tread, if the tread is beyond Lincoln’s head or
at it, you are fine. Also check for uneven wearing of your truck
tires – check to see if the sides are worn out more, etc.
If the center is worn out the most, it might mean that your truck
tires were over-inflated.
